THE STORY BEHIND
JAX GOLDSMITH
The Story Behind Jax Goldsmith is a tale of determination and passion. After completing school in a small town called Otjiwarongo in Namibia, Jax found herself uncertain about her future. She took a leap of faith and ran away from home, eventually finding herself in the charming coastal town of Swakopmund. It was there that she had the incredible opportunity to study under the tutelage of German Master Goldsmith Immo Bohlke.
Starting from humble beginnings, Jax initially lived in a tent on the beach until her boss discovered her situation and helped her secure a small flat. Her apprenticeship was rigorous, instilling in her the old-school values of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Four years later, Jax emerged as a skilled artisan, passing her trade test with flying colors.
With her newfound expertise, Jax embarked on a journey working for renowned manufacturing jewelers across South Africa. From the prestigious Charles Greig in Rosebank to Michael's Designs in Fourways, and from A Weinberg & Co in downtown Johannesburg to Gerald Francis in Randburg, she honed her skills and expanded her knowledge.
Driven by her unwavering passion for jewelry and commitment to exceptional customer service, Jax ventured to open her own business in Fourways before exploring opportunities in Botswana's vibrant capital, Gaborone. Eventually, she found her way to the enchanting city of Durban, where she joined Studio 39 in Kloof.
Today, Jax proudly operates from her own Bespoke Jewellery Studio in Kloof, offering a personal touch that embodies her dedication to her craft and her clients. With her wealth of experience, attention to detail, and a deep-rooted passion for creating exquisite pieces, Jax Goldsmith delivers unparalleled beauty and exceptional customer satisfaction.
