Terms for Delivery and Collection


Each order's shipping will be described and quoted.

The only addresses Jax Goldsmith will physically ship to are those in South Africa. 

 

If your order cannot be shipped, you will be contacted immediately by phone or email and informed of the situation.

Allow 3 to 5 working days for delivery, depending on where in SA the package needs to be delivered by courier.

 

PERFORMANCE SECURITY
 

Jax Goldsmith only delivers to physical addresses. We will request your postal address if your delivery address is far from the main hub or courier depot.

Any information on the packaging that might reveal the precise nature of the package, such as our company name, content description, or label, will be purposefully removed.

Your Identity Document and signature will be required upon delivery to guarantee delivery. Furthermore, if you paid with a credit card, you must also present that card on delivery.

When necessary, customer service may get in touch with you for more information.

 

TRACKING YOUR PARCEL

The day your order ships, you will receive an email with a confirmation of shipment and a waybill number. As a result, you will have access to online order tracking up until it arrives at its destination.

 

COLLECTING IN PERSON

You have the option of picking up your order from our office in Durban.

CANCELLATION OF ORDER

Please get in touch with us as soon as possible with all the relevant order information if you need to cancel or change your Jax Goldsmith order for any reason. Only orders that have not yet started the crafting process will be considered for cancellation.

Please take note that our order-fulfillment system is set up to ship orders quickly and effectively so they can reach our customers. As a result, once an order has started the manufacturing or shipping process, we cannot change or cancel it. Orders placed using customized or private quotes cannot be cancelled. Jax Goldsmith may cancel any order that seems suspicious or fraudulent.

We provide a simple returns policy so you can shop with confidence if for any reason you're not completely satisfied with your order. 30-Day Refund Period After the item is delivered, you have 30 days to initiate a return or exchange. Please follow these easy steps if you want to exchange or return an item: 1. Get in touch with us: Within 30 days of receiving your order, send an email to returns@jaxgoldsmith.com or give us a call at [customer service number]. Please let us know the reason for your return as well as your order number.

2. Pack Your Item: Make sure the item is in its original packaging, with all of its accessories, certificates, and tags, and that it is in perfect condition. 3. Return Authorization: Following the receipt of your return request, we'll send you the return address along with a return authorization number. 4. Ship the Item: Use a trackable shipping method of your choice to return the item to us. Please mark the package with the return authorization number. 5. Inspection and refund/exchange processing: After we receive the item and assess its originality, we'll begin the refund or exchange process. Your original payment method will be used to process refunds. Exchanges will be sent to you without delay.

Refund Policy Requirements: The items must be in unused, undamaged original condition. Items that have been engraved, altered, or personalized might not be returnable unless there is a mistake on our end. Earrings may only be returned in their original, sealed packaging (for hygienic reasons). Returns that do not satisfy these requirements might be subject to a restocking fee or be rejected. Note: Unless the return is the result of an error or defect on our part, the customer is responsible for paying the return shipping costs. At Jax Goldsmith, we take pride in the quality of our gold and silver jewelry. However, due to the nature of precious metals and handcrafted items, normal wear and tear, improper use, or accidental damage is not covered under any warranty. We recommend proper care and maintenance to ensure longevity.

Our services, such as repairs, resizing, and polishing, are provided to the highest standards, but we do not guarantee against future damage or wear after the service is completed.
